Klevv launches DDR5 CRAS XR RGB memory with up to 6400MHz speeds

Now that Alder Lake processors are hitting the shelves, it's time for memory manufacturers to go all out with DDR5 memory. Klevv is the latest to introduce its own DDR5 memory modules, promising speeds up to 6400MHz.

Using SK Hynix DDR5 chips, Klevv's standard DDR5 memory modules will come with 16GB each, following the JEDEC standard at 4800MHz with CL40-40-40 timings at 1.1V. These modules have already undergone QVL testing by motherboard manufacturers like ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI to ensure their compatibility. Soon, Klevv will launch 32GB modules and SO-DIMMs for laptops.

Besides standard memory, Klevv also introduced the CRAS XR RGB gaming DDR5 memory. Featuring a sleek white heatsink and a customisable RGB lightbar, Klevv CRAS XR RGB memory will come clocked up to 6400MHz. The remaining specifications will be shared at launch.

Klevv's standard memory will enter production by the end of this quarter, so you should see availability before the end of the year. The higher-end CRAS XR RGB memory modules will be available in early 2022.

KitGuru says: We can't say much about Klevv's standard memory aesthetics, but the CRAS XR RGB memory modules look particularly appealing, even without the RGB lighting. We hope they perform as good as they look.
