Kingston’s new FURY line-up of memory now available

With Kingston having sold its HyperX brand to HP back in February, the component manufacturer has since rebranded its lineup of “high-performance memory” to ‘FURY’. New memory under the FURY brand has now officially been released, offering plenty of options to choose from to suit all kinds of gaming rigs.

Kingston has announced that it is beginning to ship its latest FURY branded memory from today – the first release to use the new branding following the sale of its HyperX name to HP. The company is launching three new memory ranges: Kingston FURY Renegade, Kingston FURY Beast, and Kingston FURY Impact.

The Kingston FURY Renegade DDR4 RGB allows you to “crank up your frame rate, keep your streams broadcasting smoothly and plough through your highlight reel editing” thanks to its speeds of up to 4600MHz and CL15-CL19 latencies. As is in the name, the Renegade RGB utilises the company’s “patented Infrared Sync Technology.”

Alongside the RBG variant, Kingston is offering a Renegade DDR4 without RBG, but with speeds up to 5333MHz, paired with quick CL13-CL20 timings. Both of these variants are XMP certified with profiles offering optimisation for Intel chipsets.

The next set of memory sticks are the Kingston FURY Beast DDR4 and its RGB variant. These offer speeds up to 3733MHz and CL15–19 latencies. These are positioned as the more cost-effective set, all the while offering Plug n Play automatic overclocking at 2666MHz while being Intel XMP ready and AMD Ryzen ready. The Kingston FURY Beast is also available in DDR3 kits.

Finally, for laptop or SFF machines, the Kingston FURY Impact SODIMM modules offers up to 3200MHz speeds/ As with the Beast, the Impact is ready for both Intel XMP and AMD Ryzen.

Speaking on this latest family of memory sticks, the DRAM business manager at Kingston, Iwona Zalewska, said “We’re happy to continue to provide the same great high-performance memory and customer service that gaming and PC enthusiasts have come to expect from us, now through Kingston FURY. Whether you’re contemplating a simple budget-friendly upgrade or ready to max out your system’s capabilities for the ultimate gaming experience Kingston FURY has the products for you.”
