RDR2, God of War and more reportedly coming to PS Now

While Microsoft has received a great deal of praise for its Xbox Game Pass subscription service, PlayStation has similarly offered its own service (called PlayStation Now) to much less fanfare. It would seem that Sony may be preparing to increase not only the quality but quantity of games coming to PS Now, according to a new leak.

An advert for July’s PS Now games recently leaked, revealing an impressive month for the subscription service, which has mostly been forgotten by fans and – some may say – Sony. If this leak proves to be true (and considering it comes from Sony itself, this is likely to be the case), then it seems Sony is looking to boost PlayStation Now in a significant manner.

The leaked PS Now games for July are:

  • God of War 2018
  • Red Dead Redemption 2 (Available until the 1st of November)
  • Judgement (Available until the 4th of October)
  • Nioh 2
  • Moving Out
  • Team Sonic Racing

With Microsoft continually adding new games to Xbox Game Pass and promising all future first party titles will come to the service day-and-date, Sony’s PS Now has appeared to be the comparatively worse deal (even if it is cheaper). July’s month appears to show a shift in tactics for Sony, and so it will be interesting to see what the console manufacturer has planned for PlayStation Now in the long run.
