More AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT and RX 6600 GPU specs emerge

Earlier this week, EEC listings gave us the first hint that AMD is working on new RDNA 2 graphics cards. Since then, the leaks haven't stopped, with more specifications and GPU details coming to light, including clock speeds.

Starting off with the new leaks, we have GPU-Z screenshots (via Chiphell),  showing the Radeon RX 6600 and the Radeon RX 6600 XT. The same person recently shared the specifications of these cards and appears to have access to two engineering samples, although only the RX 6600 XT is picked up by GPU-Z properly. According to the GPU-Z screenshots uploaded, it looks like the Radeon RX 6600 XT has a 1692/2684MHz base/boost GPU clock and 16Gbps memory clock.

The team at Phoronix has also seemingly uncovered the Navi 24 GPU, which should power entry-level RX 6500 or RX 6400 graphics cards. Labelled as ‘Beige Goby' in the code of a Linux graphics driver patch, it looks like AMD is sticking to its fish trend for GPU codenames.

According to Locuza, the Navi 24 GPU is expected to feature 16MB of Infinity Cache and 18 CUs with 1024 streaming processors. Considering the timing of the addition of the ‘Beige Goby' GPU in the Linux graphics driver, we expect a release after the RX 6600 XT and RX 6600 have been revealed.

KitGurusays: If AMD releases the Navi 24 GPU, it will be the first time that a Radeon GPU line-up has consisted of four or more chips since the RX 500 series.
