Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.2 patch notes reveal massive list of fixes

Last week, CD Projekt Red began talking about some of the changes coming in Cyberpunk 2077's next patch, including improvements to police AI, driving and keyboard bindings (PC only). Now, with the patch set to land within the next couple of days, the full patch notes have been released, revealing a lengthy list of fixes.

The patch notes include 77 gameplay fixes and tweaks, 127 quest fixes, 34 open world fixes, 83 fixes for cinematic moments during the campaign, 24 fixes for issues with environment and interaction, 37 fixes for graphics, audio and animation bugs, and a further 61 fixes for UI issues. The patch notes don't end there either, as there are also blocks of test covering stability, performance, miscellaneous errors and PC-specific and console-specific fixes.

Interestingly, the PC-specific patch notes bring good news for AMD graphics card users, as the game will finally support ray-tracing on non-Nvidia hardware. You will need to be using the latest Radeon Software drivers in order to take advantage though.

In the stability and performance section, we learn that improvements have been made to the engine and rendering engine to reduce the number of random crashes across all platforms. In addition, memory optimisations have been made, which should also help put a stop to the amount of crashes players experience.

If you're curious about something specific being fixed, then you'll be able find it in the full patch notes, HERE. Discuss on our Facebook page, HERE.

KitGuru Says: It looks like this patch will make the game as stable as we'd hoped it would be at launch. Of course, we've still got to see the patch in action to know for sure. Have any of you going to be diving back into Cyberpunk 2077 when this patch lands?
