People Can Fly reveals Outriders demo details

Back in January, People Can Fly's upcoming sci-fi co-op shooter, Outriders, was delayed to April. It's not all doom and gloom though, as a big demo for the game is dropping next week and all progress made will carry over to the game once it launches.

The demo for Outriders is coming on the 25th of February and includes a good chunk of the main game. There is no time limit in place, so players will have a chance to try out everything. Aside from that, the demo will feature all four classes and gives you six character slots so you can experiment with different character builds.

People Can Fly revealed more details about the demo in a Twitter thread. The developers confirm that the game's prologue and opening story chapter will be playable, so you'll get to check out early-game gear drops and enemies. In the final game, the further you get into the story, more powerful enemies and loot will appear. The level cap in the demo is 7, but players will be able to play up to the fifth difficulty tier.

The demo also supports cross-play multiplayer with Xbox, PlayStation and PC. Google Stadia is not included here as the demo is not coming to that platform. Outriders is set to officially release on the 1st of April.

KitGuru Says: Are many of you looking forward to Outriders? Will you be checking out the demo next week?
