Intel “Tiger Canyon” NUC 11 Pro specifications have leaked

Intel is getting ready to launch a new series of NUCs for professional use. The Intel NUC 11 Pro (Tiger Canyon) will feature Intel Tiger Lake processors, a wide set of connectivity options, and it will be available in two formats, allowing users to choose its specifications according to their needs.

As per HXL tweet, the processor options include the Intel Core i7-1185G7, the Intel Core i7-1165G7, the Intel Core i5-1145G7, the Intel Core i5-1135G7, and the Intel Core i3-1115G4, offering varying levels of performance to choose from. All processors feature Xe-LP integrated graphics and can be paired with up to 64GB of DDR4-3200 SODIMMs.

Video outputs include an HDMI 2.1 port and an HDMI 2.0b port, both with built-in CEC/port, and 2x Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports with DisplayPort and USB 3.2 Gen2 alt mode. Given how often Intel NUCs are used as media PCs, the HDMI ports will certainly be useful for some users. In professional environments, users can create multi-monitor setups with up to 4 displays, improving their work experience or use it for presentations.

Storage expansion is possible through its M.2 key M and key B slots. Wired network connectivity can be achieved through the Intel i225-LM network interface, with speeds of up to 2.5Gbps, or wirelessly thanks to the Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 module. There are 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports at the front and a USB-A 3.2 Gen2 at the rear. Additionally, there's an RS232 serial port header.

There will be two chassis available: “tall” H chassis measuring 117x112x54mm and the “slim” K chassis measuring 117x112x37mm. The H chassis comes with a “daughtercard” with 2x USB-A 2.0 ports and another Intel i225-LM interface with the respective extra RJ45 port.
