MSI introduces the ultrawide Optix MAG342CQRV curved gaming monitor

MSI's latest addition to its monitor portfolio is a curved gaming monitor called Optix MAG342CQRV. This new monitor comes with a 34-inch UWQHD panel with outstanding contrast, wide viewing angles and numerous gaming-oriented features to level up your gameplay.

The 34-inch panel equipped in the Optix MAG342CQRV has a 3440 x 1440 resolution, 100Hz refresh rate, and 1ms (MPRT) response time. This 8-bit panel has 250nits of brightness and a contrast ratio of 3000:1. With a curvature of 1500R, the Optix MAG342CQRV has wide 178° (H)/178° (V) viewing angles and covers 89.48%/112.2% of the DCI-P3/sRGB colour gamut.

The Optix MAG342CQRV is compatible with MSI Mystic Light, meaning that you can synchronise the RGB LED circle in the back of the monitor with other Mystic Light compatible products. This monitor also features Night Vision, which brings “out the fine details in dark areas”, Adaptive Sync, to smoothen out your gaming experience by preventing screen tearing, and Anti-Flicker technology, to reduce fatigue on the user's eyes.

This monitor features a borderless design, that offers “better continuity between screens” placed side-by-side. There's a DisplayPort 1.2, an HDMI 1.4 port, an HDMI 2.0 port, and an audio-out 3.5mm jack. The stand allows the user to tilt (-5º to 20º), swivel (±30º), pivot (±5º) and adjust the monitor's height (90mm). The monitor also supports 75x75mm VESA mounting brackets.
