Tokyo Game Show Online announced for September

Back in May, the physical, in-person version of the Tokyo Game Show was officially called off due to COVID-19 concerns, much like other major gaming events in 2020. Since then, the organisers behind TGS have been working on putting together a digital version of the show, which has now been announced today.

The Tokyo Game Show Online will debut on September 23rd and end on September 27th. During the event, there will be announcements from “major publishers to indie game developers” as well as release date announcements for some games that we already know about.

Game announcements won't be the only thing taking place though, there will also be esports tournaments, gaming accessories, online panel discussions and more.

Everything going on at TGS Online this year will be watchable for free on the Tokyo Game Show website.

KitGuru Says: It is great to see that the Tokyo Game Show will still be taking place in some form this year. Is there anything you are hoping to see? Personally, I'm hoping for another look at Resident Evil Village.
