Greenliant launch industrial temperature 2 TB M.2 SSDs

Greenliant has announced that mass production of its industrial temperature 2 TB NVMe and SATA ArmourDrive SSD modules are underway. The announcement confirms that Greenliant will be one of the first companies to offer -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature 2 TB SSDs for industrial applications.

The new industrial temperature 2 TB M.2 SSDs will be built on the 2280 form factor and feature hardware encryption and onboard DRAM cache. This new line of industrial 2 TB M.2 SSDs is designed to save space, improve security and offer increased capacity for a range of industrial applications in harsh environments.

“Customers rely on our wide and deep selection of quality solid state storage products, and Greenliant is pleased to be one of the first companies to offer I-temp 2 Terabyte M.2 SSDs for industrial applications that require higher capacities,” said Arthur Kroyan, vice president of business development and marketing, Greenliant.

As well as the 2 TB versions, Greenliant 87 PX series of SATA and 88 PX NVMe M.2 ArmourDrive SSDs are also available in a wide range of capacities, including 240 GB, 480 GB and 960 GB variants. All the 87 and 88 PX ArmourDirve series will be capable of operating at an industrial temperature specification of between -40 to +85 degrees Celsius and support AES-256 / TCG OPAL encryption as well as secure erase.

The full range of 87/88 PX ArmourDrive MVMe and SATA M.2 industrial temperature SSDs are manufactured using industrial 3-bit-per-cell (TLC) 3D NAND flash memory to provide secure and reliable data storage for embedded systems.
