HyperX launch the Alloy Origins Core tenkeyless mechanical keyboard

Mechanical keyboards will be on the Christmas list of many hardcore gamers this year, HyperX has announced it will be adding to its line of mechanical gaming keyboards in time for the big day with the Alloy Origins Core.

The new mechanical keyboard from HyperX will include the company’s red mechanical switches which HyperX claims are designed with performance and longevity in mind, as they feature a shorter actuation point and are rated for 80 million clicks. Additionally, the Alloy Origins Core includes 100% anti-ghosting and full N-key rollover.

The Alloy Origins Core maximises space on the desktop with its tenkeyless layout, providing more room for mouse movement when desk space is at a premium. Other features of the HyperX Alloy Origins Core include RGB exposed backlighting to the keys, with various effects and five brightness levels, an aircraft-grade aluminium body for enhanced durability and a detachable USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable.

“HyperX is excited to release the new Alloy Origins Core featuring HyperX red mechanical switches,” said Jennifer Ishii, keyboard business manager, HyperX. “The Alloy Origins Core was designed specifically for TKL keyboard fans, offering gamers a high-performance HyperX RGB tenkeyless keyboard option.”

HyperX Alloy Origins Core mechanical keyboard features Custom Game Mode that allows the user to select which keys are enabled and disabled, along with programmable macro keys that can be assigned in the macro library. The keyboard can be adjusted to three various angles to suit user preference for comfortable long periods of gaming. The integrated RGB lighting and macros can be adjusted via HyperX NGENUITY software, including customisable per-key lighting effects and onboard memory can save up to three profiles.

The HyperX Alloy Origins Core is available to purchase now through HyperX retail channels, with an MSRP of $89 US or £100 in the UK.
