Antec launches NX100 entry-level case

Antec is kicking off the year with a brand new case. The NX100 mid-tower is launching this month with an easy layout for DIY PC builders to get along with, a full-sized side window to show off your hard work and support for a wide range of hardware- all for €34.29.

The NX100 sits at the entry-level end of the spectrum, most of the case is black but there are coloured accents. In the images below you'll find the black/grey version but a version with yellow accents is also being made available for the same MSRP.

The case measures in at 430mm x 190mm x 462mm (D x W x H) and supports Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX and ATX sized motherboards. For CPU coolers, you'll be able to fit one with a maximum height of 155mm and for graphics cards, you'll be able to fit one up to 350mm in length.

There is space for up to five 120mm fans in total but you'll get the rear exhaust fan preinstalled with the case. This does mean that you'll want to pick up a couple of intake fans for the front alongside the case. Alternatively, you'll be able to swap that rear 120mm fan out for a 120mm AIO liquid cooler.

There are two 2.5″/3.5″ combo drive bays and an additional two 2.5″ drive bays, so you'll have plenty of room for SSDs and HDDs. The front panel consists of USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports. Finally, the case supports up to seven expansion cards, so fitting a standard dual-slot or a bigger triple-slot GPU will be possible, alongside other PCIe cards- such as a sound card, additional USB ports, a WiFi card etc.

Finally, there is a PSU shroud to hide those cables, the shroud also has some ventilation to help with cooling.

KitGuru Says: The Antec NX100 mid-tower is arriving soon. If it ends up hitting retail at €35, then it could be a very interesting option for someone looking to keep their build costs down.
