Fallout 76 PC system requirements announced

The Fallout 76 beta is heading to PC in just a few days time and the full game will be launching in less than a month. With that in mind, Bethesda has decided to announce the game's system requirements for PC gamers.

Fallout 76 is an experimental game for Bethesda Game Studios, shifting away from the usual single-player focus in order to create a shared multiplayer version of Fallout. The game's map is Bethesda's largest ever, with the ability to run into other players, complete quests, take down mutants and even launch nukes.

If you are planning to play this on PC, then here are the minimum system requirements:

  • OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit required)
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-6600k 3.5 GHz/AMD Ryzen 3 1300X 3.5 GHz or equivalent.
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 780 3GB/AMD Radeon R9 285 2GB or equivalent.
  • Memory: 8GB RAM.
  • Storage: 60GB of free disk space.

Here are the recommended system requirements:

  • OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit required)
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 3.6 GHz/AMD Ryzen 5 1500X 3.5 GHz.
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 970 4GB/AMD R9 290X 4GB.
  • Memory: 8GB RAM.
  • Storage: 60GB of free disk space.

Fallout 76 launches on the 14th of November. A closed beta for those who pre-ordered begins on Tuesday the 30th of October. Bethesda is opening the servers up at specific times and only for a few hours, so players will need to keep an eye on Bethesda's social media pages for exact time announcements.

KitGuru Says: I'm looking forward to trying Fallout 76, although I don't necessarily have high hopes for the game. Did any of you have the chance to try the beta on Xbox One this week?
