DOOM Eternal gameplay reveal arriving this week

During Bethesda's E3 showcase in June, we were treated to a fairly brief announcement for DOOM Eternal, a direct sequel to the 2016 reboot. The trailer gave us a brief tease of what to expect, but fans of the series will get their first look at gameplay later this week.

DOOM (2016) had its first gameplay reveal at Quakecon several years ago and that trend will be continuing. DOOM Eternal gameplay will be shown off live during Quakecon 2018 on the 10th of August.

So far, we don't know a ton about DOOM Eternal, but the game will presumably be landing in 2019. We do know that the DOOM Slayer will be returning, although this time he will be fighting across dimensions to defeat demons with new weapons and abilities.

While the DOOM (2016) Quakecon reveal was kept secret for a long time, DOOM Eternal will be broadcast live for the whole world to see right from the get go.

KitGuru Says: I was a huge fan of DOOM, so I'm very much looking forward to seeing the sequel in action.
