Computex 2018: Sapphire shows off modded systems and collaborates with Square Enix

The Sapphire booth sits high above the main floor in the Nangang Exhibition Centre, which is the hub of Computex 2018. Alongside a full selection of graphics cards and driving simulations were some funky designs that definitely drew the eye. To find out more, we caught up with Dan Forster – Sapphire Guru – who also happened to collect an award for the best AMD graphics card at the EHA Awards last night.

Dan Forster ran us through Sapphire's new collaboration with Square Enix. The two have teamed up to give away some “exciting new independent games” with Sapphire Pulse RX 550 and RX 560 graphics cards. You get one free code with the 550 and two with the 560.

Dan continued: “The idea with the ‘Square Enix Collective’ promotion is that casual gamers, who go for an affordable card, still want to explore interesting and immersive games that will deliver great frame rates”. Buyers will be able to choose from three titles- Forgotten Anne, Batallion 1942 and Oh My Godheads.

The systems on the show floor were all created by modders, and their hard work is definitely appreciated. Each PC looks incredible, with plenty of attention to detail and custom loop goodness.

KitGuru Says: The Sapphire booth was certainly impressive this year, with plenty of eye catching systems floating around.
