Thermaltake introduces RGB-powered View 32 TG RGB Edition Mid-Tower

Thermaltake has bolstered its View Series lineup of cases, granting owners the ability to customise eye catching rigs with RGB lighting. The View 32 TG RGB Edition Mid-Tower Chassis is already available for $140, earning its value with three pre-installed 120mm Riing RGB LED fans and a built-in controller.

Aesthetic might be the primary focus of the View 32 TG RGB Edition Mid-Tower Chassis with its many windowed panels, however the company is keen to emphasise that this doesn’t come at the expense of durability and resistance. In fact, Thermaltake dubs the 4mm thick tempered glass panels as “premium-quality” across its top, front, left and right sides, allowing users to showcase their builds while protecting internals.

The three pre-installed Riing RGB LED fans, along with up five more subsequently added fans to make eight in total, can be powered by the View 32 TG RGB Edition’s built-in switch board, helping to deliver 256 colours. Thermaltake has opted for a single button on the top-front panel to allow users to change between 5 different lighting modes on the fly, including spectrum waves and static colours.

Despite being a mid-tower, Thermaltake packs enough room in the View 32 TG RGB Edition to house three pre-installed 120mm intake fans at the front with a further two 120mm fans at the top and a single 120mm fan at the rear. Liquid cooling enthusiasts can instead opt for a radiator up to 360mm in length.

CPU towers up to 160mm in height will fit without issue, while power supply units supported up to 220mm. Two video cards up to 400mm in length can fit, provided that the user removes the hard drive cage. This can all be rearranged easily without the need for tools.

Thermaltake’s View 32 TG RGB Edition Mid-Tower Chassis is currently available now from Amazon US for $140. UK listings are up on the site, allowing residents to pre-order the case for £139.90.

KitGuru Says: The View 32 TG RGB Edition isn’t quite as daring in design as its open-frame Core P90 but it is sleek and just as aesthetically inviting with regards to showing off internals. Perhaps not a case you’d want to move around very often, however, with the amount of glass panels. Does the View 32 TG RGB Edition appeal to you?
