Galaxy showcase dual GPU Geforce 470 series

Hothardware posted a picture of a rather sexy looking videocard which features two Fermi class GPU's on a 12 inch PCB. It comes supplied with three DVI connectors on the back and takes power from two 8x pin power connectors.

There is no pricing or availability information yet, but we would assume they are still trying to work out how to keep it cool!

KitGuru says: Surely watercooling only? or perhaps a new, heavy duty tri slot cooler…

  1. I have a sneaking suspicion this is a ‘showcase’ card and will never hit retail. No way they could cool that without going down the roads of something insane. Mass market burnout material if ever I saw it.

  2. power consumption? 450w? lol. imagine QUAD sli’ing two of these? 800W PSU alone for the Graphics cards.

  3. PSU manufacturers will love this 🙂 I agree, it looks like a showcase card for display purposes. too many variables would need answered before id believe it was genuine on a customer level. Price? Power? heat? all very very hard to answer
