Bethesda is bringing Skyrim VR to PC next month

After spending several months as a PlayStation VR exclusive, Skyrim VR is finally heading to the PC and better yet, it will support all headsets, including the VIVE, the Rift and Windows 10 Mixed Reality HMDs. Bethesda made the announcement last night, just as Skyrim VR's listing on Steam went live.

Skyrim VR originally launched in November last year for PSVR. The most popular Elder Scrolls game to date was reworked, allowing players to experience the story all over again in virtual reality. Unlike Fallout 4 VR, Skyrim VR does include all of the game's DLC, so buyers will also get access to Dragonborn, Dawnguard and Hearthfire expansions.

Skyrim originally launched in 2011 and over the last couple of years, fans have joked about the number of times Bethesda has chosen to re-release the game. This time around though, it seems well worth it, as VR will bring a whole new experience to the game.

It will be expensive to pick up though. Just like Fallout 4 VR, Skyrim VR will be launching with a £39.99 price tag. The game officially releases on PC on the 3rd of April.

KitGuru Says: As an Oculus Rift owner, I am quite interested in this, but I've recently re-played a lot of Skyrim on the Nintendo Switch, so I'm likely going to be waiting for a sale on this one. Are many of you looking forward to Skyrim VR heading to PC?
