G.Skill launches ultra-fast Intel-optimised Trident Z memory

Whenever a new platform is released, G.Skill is sure to follow shortly after with high-end RAM kits optimised for the new chipset. The same can be said for Intel’s new Coffee Lake microarchitecture, with new Trident Z memory kits built around Z370 chipset motherboards to achieve one of the highest speeds yet.

Manufactured with ultra-high performance Samsung B-die DDR4 ICs, G.Skill has launched new ultra-fast kits, most of which break the 4000MHz barrier. As always, if it’s more memory that you’re after, you’ll have to sacrifice speed to do so, but even then, the huge 64GB kit still holds an impressive 3733MHz speed. Unfortunately, those wanting to spruce up their rig with G.Skills renown Trident Z RGB kits will be further capped, with a maximum speed of 4000MHz.

G.Skill has been kind enough to showcase the new performance with provided benchmark images, for its 4000MHz, 4200MHz and 4600MHz bundles with each kit of RAM tested with an Intel Core i5-8600K processor from its 8th generation line-up and an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS motherboard.
