Synology extends its warranty package to include more countries

Synology this week has announced that it would be launching an extended warranty in 27 additional countries, covering 52 countries in total. The extended warranty adds an extra two years of coverage to several Synology DiskStation systems, giving buyers additional peace of mind. With today's extension, buyers in the UK, Ireland and Nordics are now covered.

The new warranty applies to the DiskStation DS1517+, DiskStation DS1817+, and expansion unit DX517. However, more devices will be added over time.

Here are the continents and countries that the Synology Extended Warranty is now available in:

Africa- Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, South Africa, Tunisia.
Asia & Oceania– Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam.
Europe– Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.
Middle East– Bahrain, Iran, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, United Arab Emirates.
