Computex: Phanteks rolls out new cases, liquid cooling gear and accessories

Leo had the chance to stop by the Phanteks booth at Computex earlier today and managed to spot plenty of new additions to the company's lineup. Aside from some new cases, Phanteks was also showing off some of its own liquid cooling gear and accessories.

You can see all of our images in the gallery above but there are some extra details to go along with all of the images. Firstly, Phanteks has a new range of ‘Glacier Series' liquid cooling gear, ranging from CPU and GPU waterblocks to fittings and reservoirs. We didn't spot any radiators or pumps but it seems that Phanteks is growing its cooling arsenal. Another additional accessory that Phanteks introduced this year were ‘Halos', which are RGB LED fan rings for industrial fans, like the ones made by Noctua or Vardar. Halos will individually cost either €17.99 or €19.99 depending on whether you need a 120mm or 140mm size.

In terms of cases, we got to see the new Enthoo Pro M Glass Edition with a while interior, RGB controllers and two halos. This will cost €114.99 when it launches. We also got a look at the new Enthoo Evolv ITX update, which adds a tempered glass window and RGB lighting. It looks pretty stunning if I do say so myself.

Phanteks also showed the Eclipse P300, a cheaper ATX case coming in at €59, with a single rear fan, two drive caddies at the front, an SSD mount in the rear and clearance for a 160mm CPU cooler. The motherboard tray and PSU cover are formed by a single piece of metal, so you won't be able to take the PSU shroud out.

Finally, perhaps my favourite thing at the Phanteks booth is the Evolv Shift. Previously, this case was known as ‘Project 217' and it appears to be the sort of thing you'd build your living room system in. It comes in two sizes, with the smaller one costing €109.99 and the larger costing €159.99. However, despite the size difference both are ITX cases, the key difference would be cooling options and extra room for hardware.

KitGuru Says: Phanteks has made some of my favourite cases over the years. In fact, I use the Enthoo Evolv ATX for my personal rig at the moment. What did you guys think of the Phanteks lineup at Computex this year? Did anything catch your eye at all?

  1. I’m totally confused by the ‘HALOS’, the pictures make them just look like white fans. What i’m hoping for are fans or some sort of RGB device that can be controlled by the RGB controller that is already built into the PHANTEKS EVOLV mATX case.

I can see my case in the second to last picture, god it’s beautiful……..I can also see what looks suspiciously like MR Waldock reflected in it, oh well can’t all be perfect ; )

  2. The Halos are a bracket that can be mounted on to provide light to regular fans. In the photo, the top fans have black blades and the bottoms are white. If you want a better look, HardwareCanucks on youtube features them in a video primarily focused on the P300 TG

  4. Thanks for that I’ll take a look but at that price they better be damned good, for the price of one HALO you could just about get a pair of Thermaltake Riiings. You’ve really really got to want RGB to pay those prices and there’s loads of RGB strip mods knocking around that give you a better effect at a fraction of the cost.

  5. “we got to see the new Enthoo Pro M Glass Edition with a while interior”

Is that meant to be a white interior? Sounds interesting.
