GTA Online’s Biker expansion lands next week

If you have been waiting for a reason to log back in to Grand Theft Auto: Online, then you may want to check out the upcoming Bikers expansion. Rockstar announced its latest content drop for GTA Online recently, paving the way for players to create their own biker gangs, while also introducing new properties and a new custom mechanic.

The Biker expansion brings in new gameplay, as you climb the ranks of your gang and take on jobs to bring in more cash. Bikers will also be able to wield melee weapons while riding around, which could make for some interesting deathmatch scenarios.

Rockstar has more planned, as detailed in the announcement post: “Beyond a range of opportunities to climb the ranks within a gang and build lucrative businesses as a formidable MC, Bikers also includes a selection of appropriately-themed new modes for bikers of all kinds, along with new weapons, styles, tattoos and features to make this a huge addition to the world of GTA Online.”

Rockstar is also encouraging players to “Keep an eye out for high-level, high-risk vehicle based business ventures to spring up across Los Santos and Blaine County soon”, so expect more activities to pop up when the Biker expansion launches on the 4th of October.

KitGuru Says: It has been a while since I've jumped back into GTA Online, the rampant connection and cheater issues have kept me away for a while. However, it would be interesting to see what new stuff has been added since I last played. Do any of you still play GTA Online? Have things improved on PC with the addition of new content?

  1. Enjoy your last moments with GTA Online Rockstar. Because your franchise will be shut down together with your competition and end up with your whole business in the gaming industry, once CIG drops the nuke. You don’t have much time left, and GTA6 will look like crap against a fully released Star Citizen.

  3. Wtf are you yammering about?! Sc ain’t going to be out for at least another year…

  4. It might not be out, but it will be a AAA-equal game in the end of this year with patch 3.0.

  5. Ha, like 3.0 will be out by then and not riddled with bugs. At best, Spring 2017 before 3.0 is out and playable.

  6. You are forgetting the new net code broh. It’s the one thing that will solve a lot of the issues with performance in the future.

  7. It will solve performance…when it works, but Im just going with their past performance aka “coming soon™”. Heck, name me one patch that has come out a) on time and b) not bugged to hell :p
