Update: The time has come, you can now pre-load Grand Theft Auto V for the PC. The download comes in at 59.0GB on Steam. If you pre-ordered through the Rockstar Warehouse or GreenManGaming, then you will receive your code soon via email, along with links to download the GTA V PC installer. You can view GMG's full list of instructions, HERE. However, do remember that while you will have the game on your system, it won't be playable until the files decrypt on the 14th of April next week.

If you happen to already have bought Grand Theft Auto V for the PC through Rockstar's own website or directly through Steam, then you will be able to pre-load the game in just a few days on the 7th of April, a week ahead of the game's official launch on the platform.
The announcement arrived to us via Rockstar's support section, which hasn't been the best source of information over the last six months in regards to delays. Grand Theft Auto V is going to take up 65GB of hard drive space, which is obviously quite a lot for a game.
Pre-loading digital titles has become an increasingly important feature to have as game sizes increase. If you pre-ordered from a different retailer, then you may not get your key in time to pre-load the game but it is possible that each retailer will come up with their own individual plans to coincide with this.
Grand Theft Auto V PC isn't too far away, earlier this week Rockstar released a 1080p 60 frames per second trailer for the game but aside from that, there isn't really anything left to do but wait.

Does anyone know if I will still be able to play online via Steam if I have pre-ordered GTA V on disc?
Depends if the disc version is Steam version or Rockstar. The game may not be added to your steam library as a steam game but you can add it manually (no point) and steam/rockstar users should still be able to play online together.

I hope so. I can max out MP3 and still average over 90 FPS with a single GTX 970. If GTA V is optimized that well, it’s gonna run great on my machine.

Oh yea, not downloading 60GB all over again on my internet. My family usually uses more than the 250GB limit so we pay $10 more every month. Having downloaded this once completely through that’s another $10 for a total $20. I would wait till the weekend to do it at a school campus (previous school) or at church if something screwed up. By the time I can play GTA V I will have lost any savings I got for buying the game cheap from GMG.

Oh im just so excited. that game that’s been out for nearly two years has finally been released.
Seriously, I was really looking forward to modding the shit out of this game and enjoying it in all its HD glory, but in the past two years, way better games have come out and the shallow single player of this game left much to be desired. I’ve lost interest after playing it on the PS4 too.
By all means, get the game if you like playing online with 13 year old schoolkids who love your mother unconditionally, but if you’ve played this game already, don’t bother upgrading, waste of money and the single player is totally boring after the missions. you would’ve thought there’d be more to do in an “open world criminal game” than play golf or tennis.
