Google's latest smartphone, the Nexus 6, is finally available to pre-order in the UK ahead of an impending December release date. The 6 Inch smartphone is built by Motorola, featuring many of the same specifications as this year's Moto X.

The ‘Midnight Blue' 32GB Nexus 6 is available to pre-order on Amazon, which says that it will begin shipping on the 15th of December. However, Vodafone announced a new set of contracts for the device starting at £39.50, which should begin shipping on the 5th of December. The Carphone Warehouse also has a different release date listed, claiming that it will begin sending out devices on the 1st of December. Since there are three separate release dates listed, its hard to know which one is correct.

The Carphone Warehouse is listing the Nexus 6 off contract for £499 (32GB) or £550 (64GB) but buyers can add on a Vodafone, EE or O2 Sim plan as well. The phone has still yet to become available on the Google Play Store, the 32GB Midnight Blue model is currently listed but showing as unavailable.

Apparently the Google Play Store began selling the 32GB Nexus 6 very briefly, much like it did in the US earlier this month. However, much like last time, the device had a 3-4 week shipping date and began showing as unavailable just a few minutes after going live.
