Asus kicks off a new competition with PC Specialist

Arguably one of the most amusing adverts of 2013 involves some UK tech lovers suddenly realising that what they need in order to achieve Nirvana is a brand new PC Specialist PC, loaded with Asus components. The chief protagonists loved it enough to create an entire competition around it. Read on for entry details.

The combined R&D teams from PC Specialist and Asus have pooled the fastest/most over-clockable AMD technology together in order to create a £1,200 system.

Built on the Asus Crosshair IV Formula-Z board with 16GB of Kingston memory, the AMD FX-9590 processor has been properly tuned up for the event.

Gaming action is provided by the latest Asus R9 280X card and the lucky winner will be accessing those games through Windows 8.1 (Start button and all).

The competition will only run until the 30th November, so – if you want to enter – head over to this page. [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqC7iRD0r5Y']
