Want to beta test Bungie’s Destiny? Here’s how

Not everyone is a big fan of social networking, but if you want to get involved in the early beta testing for Bungie's upcoming shooter RPG, Destiny, you might need to start loving it, as the developer is going to be tweeting out beta codes at random over the next week, giving people access on a first come, first served basis.

“You might want to keep checking back in with us this week; we'll be posting #Destiny Beta codes randomly each day,” reads the company's Twitter account. Likewise, it's Facebook page says the same thing, prompting hundreds of comments from people stating their readiness to get in and help polish the game up.

Unfortunately that's about all the notice we can give on it, since as Bungie said, this is going to be random, but we can at least take a look at the latest trailer together, which came out just a few days ago. To keep yourself up to date with potential beta code releases, keep an eye on the following:

Bungie Twitter
Bungie Facebook

Or you could just pre-order the thing. That'll get you into the beta too.

KitGuru Says: I like the setting for this game more than the gameplay itself. It looks very Borderlands meets Halo without anything that different – but I've been jaded on shooters for a long time, so just ignore me if you're excited.
