A spokesman for the non profit organisation are very happy with the results and said “For a ‘geeky' topic like motivating people to code, it's clear that the team behind Code.org and director Lesley Chilcott have found a way to break through the perceptions and get people talking about the national need for more computer programming education.”

The Code.org founders also made an appearance yesterday on Reddit for an Ask Me Anything session. A lot of the session was focused on parent's concerns about a lack of coding education at high school levels. They recommended people to take a look at code.org/learn.

Kitguru says: A great idea and one that has been well received already.
