Apple start taking international iPad preorders

Yesterday Apple have updated their online stores and are accepting preorders for both 3G and Wi-Fi models of the popular iPad – this is actually a day earlier than the announced launch date.

These  pages went online a little early for the May 28th launch and they are being handled through Apple online stores in the UK, Germany, Australia, Spain, Switzerland, France and Italy. The iPad will launch in Japan and Canada on May 28th but these sites are not yet accepting orders. The iPad is limited – two per customer so Apple can ‘spread the love'.

16GB 429 pounds UK, 479 euros Europe, $549 Canadian, $629 Australian

32GB 499 pounds UK, 579 euros Europe, $649 Canadian, $759 Australian

64GB 599 pounds UK, 679 euros Europe, $749 Canadian, $879 Australian

3G & WiFi

16GB 529 pounds UK, 579 euros Europe, $679 Canadian, $799 Australian
