AOC China has recently unveiled the Q27G4ZMN, a new gaming monitor that packs a punch with its fast VA panel, Mini-LED backlighting, and a 240Hz refresh rate. This 27-inch display is poised to deliver a stunning visual experience for gamers seeking high refresh rates, bright colours, and deep blacks.
The AOC Q27G4ZMN boasts a WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution and utilises a Fast VA panel, offering a 1 ms GtG response time and a 5000:1 contrast ratio. The highlight of this monitor is the Mini-LED backlight, featuring 1,152 dimming zones, allowing the Q27G4ZMN to play back HDR content with a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits. This level of brightness made him get the DisplayHDR 1000 certification.
The monitor also covers 100% of the sRGB colour space and 97% of DCI-P3, with a Delta-E value of less than 2, ensuring accurate colour reproduction. AMD FreeSync technology provides tear-free gaming, while additional features like a black stabiliser, frame rate counter, and crosshair overlay improve the gaming experience. The monitor also includes blue light filtering and flicker-free backlighting for comfortable viewing.
Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.0 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4. However, only the DisplayPort supports the full 240Hz refresh rate, while the HDMI ports are limited to 144Hz. The lack of HDMI 2.1 is a slight drawback, especially for console gamers seeking high refresh rate gaming. Ergonomics are overall good, with the included stand allowing users to tilt, swivel, adjust height (130mm), and pivot. Alternatively, you can use a monitor arm compatible with VESA mounting support.
Unfortunately, there's no word yet on pricing, availability, or a potential release in Western markets, but given the specs, we sure would like to see it arriving on our shores.
