PowerColor AM10 Wireless Mouse Review

Rating: 7.5.

PowerColor is continuing to branch out from the company's usual graphics card offerings with the release of the AM10 Wireless gaming mouse. Featuring a Pixart PAW 3395 sensor and Omron mechanical switches, the first mouse from the Taiwanese manufacturer is aiming high. It supports polling rates of up to 8000Hz when using the wired connection and has a sculpted, ergonomic body design. Could this be your new favourite mouse at under £100?

Pros:

  • Comfortable, ergonomic design.

  • Limits wireless polling to 1000Hz to prevent excessive battery drain.
  • Good quality sensor and main switches.

Cons:

  • Software still needs some polish.
  • Left and right click buttons have some pre and post click travel.
  • Scroll wheel is not the sturdiest.
  • Side buttons feel slightly mushy.

KitGuru says: The AM10 is not perfect, but it is a decent mouse, especially considering it is the first we've seen from PowerColor.
