No Man’s Sky gets ANOTHER massive update

No Man’s Sky is the gift that won’t stop giving. Just over a month on from the game’s biggest update yet – Worlds Part 1 – the team at Hello Games have already cooked up another surprise patch, introducing a comprehensive fishing system as part of the ‘Aquarius’ update.

As with pretty much every single No Man’s Sky patch, the Aquarius update brings with it a ton of fixes, changes, additions and improvements – far too many to list here. That said, some of the most notable additions available right now as part of the update include:

  • Variety of new aquatic life to catch (160+ creatures)
    • “From common minnow-like fish to huge alien marine mammals”
  • Deployable Exo-Skiff for deep ocean fishing
  • Multiple types of bait to craft and use
  • Discoverable messages in bottles
  • Crafting autonomous floating fish farms
  • New ‘Aquarius’ Expedition
  • New Cooking Recipes
  • Fishing Records
  • Deep-Sea Diving Suit

As mentioned, the full list of changes and additions can be found HERE, but as is clear from those listed above, Hello Games continue to reinvent No Man’s Sky time and time again with every single FREE update. It’ll be interesting to see what the team has planned for part 2 of the Worlds update.
