This week's list of DLSS-supported releases isn't much of a surprise, as Nvidia has already rolled out the Game Ready driver for the big new games. This week, RTX gamers can look forward to Red Dead Redemption, Dragon Age: The Veilguard and more.
Red Dead Redemption is finally releasing on PC after more than a decade. The game originally released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 back in 2010. While the pre-sequel, Red Dead Redemption 2 did launch on PC, the game that brought most people into Red Dead in the first place has remained a console exclusive title until now. The PC release also includes the popular Undead Nightmare expansion. It will cost quite a bit though, as it is launching at £40.
Red Dead Redemption on PC will support DLSS 3 with Frame Generation and Nvidia Reflex. However, I do have to wonder if Frame Gen is necessary in a game this old.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the latest RPG from BioWare. It is launching on the 31st of October to generally favourable reviews, although the best judge of how the gaming community feels about the game is often the Steam User Reviews score. With that in mind, it'll be interesting to check back later in the week and see what the overall reception is amongst fans of the franchise.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be available to stream on GeForce Now on day-one. The game also sports ray-traced graphics, DLSS 3 with Frame Generation and Nvidia Reflex.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is also launching on the 31st of October as a £10 upgrade to the original game. The detailed PC system requirements were released today and the game will sport DLSS 3 with Frame Generation, Super Resolution and Nvidia Reflex.
The final game on the list this week comes from Grease Monkey Games – Torque Drift 2. This immersive alternate-reality motorsport title is set in modern-day Japan, and aims to deliver an advanced, skill-based drifting experience. The game should run extremely smooth on RTX 40 series graphics cards thanks to DLSS 3 and Nvidia Reflex to keep latency to an absolute minimum.
