Sony's unwarranted Horizon Zero Dawn remaster is launching later this week. Days ahead of release, we now have the detailed PC system requirements targeting 720p, 1080p, 1440p and 4K resolutions.
The new system requirements for the remaster are indeed higher than the PC system requirements for the original version of the game, which released back in 2020. Originally, you only needed an Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-6300 processor, 8GB of RAM and a GTX 780 or R9 290 graphics card to run the game.
The remaster bumps the minimum requirements up to an Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X processor, 16GB of RAM and a GTX 1650 or RX 5500 XT graphics card.

KitGuru Says: If you already own the original game on PC, there may be little need to upgrade and if you are running a particularly old system, you might be better served by the original version of the game too to avoid potential performance issues.
