LCD Steam Decks get discounted ahead of discontinuation

The Steam Deck has been a mini-phenomenon, reintroducing many to portable gaming (Nintendo Switch aside) for the first time in a long time. With the introduction of the Steam Deck OLED late last year, Valve deprioritised its LCD counterpart. Now, with both the 64GB and 256GB LCD variants set to be discontinued, Valve is putting them on sale.

While the 256GB LCD Steam Deck will continue to be produced and sold for £349, the lower and higher storage versions of the machine are being “phased out.”

As such, from now until the 11th of July, both the 64GB and 512GB LCD Steam Decks can be purchased for 15% off the asking price – meaning £262.65 instead of £309 for the 64GB version and £330.65 instead of £389 for the 512GB variant.

If screen quality isn’t a concern for you, then the LCD Steam Decks still hold a great deal of value and worth, and so this clearance sale is certainly worth checking out.
