Ghostwire: Tokyo is free on the Epic Games Store

Each week, all those with an Epic Games account are privy to a couple titles for free as part of the company’s Epic Games Store program. In alignment with the Halloween season, this week’s free titles include the highly underrated Ghostwire: Tokyo.

Available to add to your library from today at 4PM UK Time (and will remain available to claim until the 7th of November), this week’s free Epic Games Store titles are the following:

  • Witch it
  • Ghostwire: Tokyo

Of course, the headlining game is Ghostwire: Tokyo – an open-world action-horror title from Tango Gameworks. Originally released as a timed PS5-exclusive, Ghostwire: Tokyo features unique magic-based FPS gameplay alongside frenetic combat and satisfying stealth.

Though one of Tango Gameworks’ more forgotten releases, the game is certainly worth experiencing – especially for free.

If you didn’t play it back when it launched, now is as good a time as any to try Ghostwire, thanks in part to a bunch of post-launch updates which – among others – added new gameplay mechanics and side stories.

If you’re more of a console player, Ghostwire is also set to come to PlayStation Plus next month – and so is certainly worth trying no matter your platform of choice.

KitGuru says: What do you think of this week’s offerings? Did you play Ghostwire: Tokyo back when it first came out? Will we ever see a sequel to the game? Let us know down below.
