Intel Lunar Lake reportedly set for September launch, followed by Arrow Lake-S in October

The Intel Core Ultra 200 series seems to be right around the corner. According to the latest rumours, the upcoming Core Ultra 200V “Lunar Lake” laptop CPUs are expected to be released in September, with the Core Ultra 200K “Arrow Lake-S” desktop processors following in October.

Benchlife (via VideoCardz) is reporting on the Intel Core Ultra 200 series launch dates for laptops and desktops. According to the report, the launch schedule for Lunar Lake is expected to fall between September 17th and 24th. This places the release of the new laptop platform before this year's Intel Innovation event, which will run from September 24th to the 25th.

Moreover, the same report suggests that the Core Ultra 200K series could be available approximately a month later. Intel should also release the first Z890 motherboards at the same time. The Core Ultra 200 non-K CPUs should come only in early 2025 alongside B860 and H810 motherboards, with a showcase of these products likely happening at CES 2025.

Adding the rumoured launches of AMD's Strix Point and Ryzen 9000 CPUs in July, as well as the potential launch of Nvidia's next-gen GeForce graphics cards in late 2024, we could be in for a string of high-profile launches over the second half of the year.
