Noctua launches small and slim NF-A6x15 fans

If you need a small and quiet fan for an ultra small and slim system, Noctua has you covered. The company has launched its new NF-A6x15 60mm fans and NA-SC1 Sx2 splitter cable set.

The NF-A6x15 offers the usual Noctua quality we expect from their larger fans but in a smaller and slimmer package, designed for devices and applications that can only fit fans of this size. Noctua CEO, Roland Mossig, says he is “confident that this fan is going to be popular for both industrial customers and end users who utilise it for 3D printing or DIY fan replacements”.

The fan is built with flow acceleration channels to focus airflow and is available in both 12V and 5V versions with 3-pin and 4-pin PWM connectors. The 5V version includes a Noctua OmniJoin adaptor set for use when replacing fans with custom headers.

Noctua has also announced its new splitter cable set today. The NA-SC1 Sx2 is a set of two NA-SC1 3-way PWM fan splitter cables that make it possible to power and control three fans through one fan header. By connecting the second triple splitter cable to the first, a total of five fans can be powered and controlled simultaneously.

The NF-A6x15 fans will be available priced at €16.90. The NA-SC1 Sx2 splitter cable set will be available for €9.90.

KitGuru Says: We are bound to see some interesting modded devices with this fan. It will no doubt be popular amongst those with 3D printers as well.
