Oh Kim Dotcom, you’re such a fanboy

While a lot of PC gamers like to look down on console gaming as a whole, if South Park has taught us anything in recent weeks, it's that being overly hyped about the next-gen system, is “just how Xbox people are.” Well you know what, Kim Dotcom is one of those people too.

In preparation for the launch, and – as far as I can tell – totally unaffiliated with Microsoft, he's made a little Xbox One promo announcing how much he's looking forward to playing the new console, especially since his current home-country (New Zealand) is getting it first. The Xbox One is set to launch across almost all markets in just two days time, less if you're in New Zealand. Who else is excited?

‘You better be excited.'

KitGuru Says: Love me a bit of Kim Dotcom. He might be a bit of an ass at times, but he's done some good things for New Zealand and his accent always makes me giggle. Also, while the Xbox One might be something I have no intention of buying, at least for a few years, the launch is still exciting. It's the next-gen guys. Whatever happens is going to be interesting.

KitGuru Games: Predicting PlayStation’s Portable Plans

The popularity of handhelds have waxed and waned over the years/generations as console maker priorities have shifted and audience trends changed. That said the launch of the Nintendo Switch ushered us into a new handheld renaissance of sorts. With rumours claiming that Sony is looking to once again re-enter the market, it is time we looked back to the portable PlayStation’s past successes, failures, and lessons (hopefully) learned for what (and what not) to do.
