GTA V source code suggests PC and PS4 versions in development

With the early leaks of Grand Theft Auto V beginning to trickle in, it's no wonder that people have been hacking it apart to look at its innards. Hidden inside the game's source code, one intrepid code explorer has found a reference to not only the long dreamed of PC version of the game, but a PS4 iteration too.

The specific line of code that's got everyone excited reads:

<! — PC configuration overrides –>
<Platforms>pc</Platforms>

This is followed by a similar entry mentioning the word “Orbis,” the originally leaked codename for Sony's next-gen PS4 and the name of its operating system.

We got our first glimpse of the GTA V map last week, but with the game set to be officially launched tomorrow, I expect this could be one of the last “leaks” we'll see before then.

KitGuru Says: I hope this PC news turns out to be true. I'm not buying a game this huge for my little old Xbox. I want SSD load times man. [Thanks VGLeaks]
