Sharkoon X-Tatic SX and SP Xbox 360 and PS3 Headsets Review

Rating: 8.0.

Sharkoon may not be a brand that you immediately associate with gaming headsets; they are better known for their golf ball style fans.  But they have been producing headsets for a while now and currently have nine different models in their lineup.  These range from budget-friendly stereo headsets to full-fat 5.1 digital surround sound ones.

Today we are going to look at two of Sharkoon’s console gaming headsets, the X-Tatic SX and X-Tatic SP. As their names suggest, the SX model is designed for Xbox 360 and the SP for Playstation 3.  But the SP can also be used with an Xbox 360 so should be favored by those who own both consoles.

The headsets themselves are almost identical apart from the connections and colour schemes so we will be evaluating them together in this review.
