ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity Officially Unveiled

First unveiled at Mobile World Congress back in February, ASUS has finally pulled all the covers off its next Transformer tablet, the Pad Infinity. The latest addition to the Android tablet market is undoubtedly the best one to date, but it will come at a price. The 32 GB version will cost $499 USD and the 64 GB model will set you back $599 USD. The famous keyboard dock doesn't come included in this base price, setting the willing purchaser back another $150. However, if you currently own the keyboard dock from the Transformer Prime this expense is not necessary.

What will really creep the sales figures upwards is the brilliant 1920 x 1200 Super IPS+ display and the blazing fast Tegra 3 processor.

The Transformer Pad Infinity will go on sale no earlier than the week of July 16 and it will be available in the same amethyst gray and champagne gold colours the Transformer Prime was offered in.

The first reviews for ASUS' latest tablet have gone live at Anandtech, Android Central and Android Police. So far reviews appear positive but many of them point out that Windows 8 tablets aren't that far away.
