Asus drop price of P8Z77-V LX to £81.32 at Scan

We reviewed the Asus P8Z77-V LX back in July this year and it earned our Worth Buying award. While we had no concerns with the capabilities and performance of the board the issue we had at the time was that the competing Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H was around £12 cheaper.

ASUS have been working with SCAN to bring down the price of this product, closely matching the price of the budget Gigabyte motherboard. SCAN are selling the ASUS P8Z77-V LX for only £81.32 inc vat.

We believe now that this board provides you with the ultimate bang for buck while not compromising on performance and features. The features include Digi+ VRM for super-efficient power delivery, the beautiful Asus UEFI BIOS with its intuitive EZMode, USB 3.0 Boost for a USB 3 data transfer speed improvement of up to 132% and Intel’s standard Z77 features such as PCI-E 3.0!

The P8Z77-V LX has many of the crucial features of higher end ASUS boards as well as having the ability to provide a healthy overclock using Intel’s current Ivy-Bridge K series range of CPU’s. If you want to read Kitguru's indepth analysis of the motherboard then head over to this page.

You can buy the board from SCAN for £81.32 inc vat – head over here to purchase.
