Free leaks indicate that Apple may update their MacBook Air mid week.
Twitter user Chronic, who is a well known source of insider information with successful ‘predictions' in the past has posted last night that his sources have 100% confirmed a Wednesday release for a MacBook Air update. Earlier today he said that Apple Store displays are going to be updated Tuesday night to launch the new ultra portable laptop.
There is no detailed information yet on the new hardware to be incorporated inside the machine but Apple are due to move to Sandybridge 32nm architecture with new Core i5 and Core i7 ultra low voltage chips which have 3mb and 4mb of Smart Cache. The systems can potentially support up to 8GB of DDR3 memory.
